Alumni return to Clewer Green for a music concert
Last week, a group of upper school students returned to Clewer Green CE First School, their former first school to perform a music concert for children aged 4 to 9. The group, who are pupils from The Windsor Boys’ School and Windsor Girls’ School, played a selection of well-known pieces and original music.
This event was a great example of collaboration across Windsor Learning Partnership schools, showing how older students can contribute to their wider school community. It also helped to inspire the younger pupils, who were excited to see what they might be able to achieve in the future.
After the performance, the visiting students stayed to enjoy break time with the younger children. They played games together in the sunshine, giving pupils a chance to interact across age groups in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Mrs Laver, music lead at Clewer Green First School said "We’re so grateful to the students for returning and sharing their music with us. It was a lovely experience for the children and helps to inspire them to see what they could be doing in just a few years’ time. I’d like to thank Will Branch from The Windsor Boys’ School for organising the event. His efforts helped bring the group together and made the concert possible.”
