Windsor Girls' host Clewer Green for science week
It is always such a highlight when schools within our trust come together to share knowledge and foster a sense of community.
As part of science week, Clewer Green CE First School took the short walk to Windsor Girls’ School to visit their labs. They were given such a warm welcome by the staff and Year 12s with lots of experiments for them to engage with.
The students were captivated by the experiments on offer, from the elephant toothpaste reaction to the impressive display of flames on the Ruben’s tube, helping students understand sound waves in a memorable way. The children had a chance to dissect a daffodil and loved watching the flammable methane bubbles. These experiences not only sparked their curiosity but also gave a chance to connect with older peers.
Moments like this showcase the strength of our trust and the opportunities available to all students. Thank you to the staff and students who made it happen.
