Jack Rankin MP visits two Windsor first schools to learn about wellbeing programme
Tue 29 Apr 2025Yesterday, Jack Rankin MP visited Oakfield First School and Clewer Green CE First School to see the myHappymind programme in action. Supported by Well Windsor, the myHappymind programme helps young children build confidence, resilience and a positive mindset through engaging activities that promote mental wellbeing and emotional growth.
By observing its delivery in classrooms, Jack Rankin MP witnessed how staff are using the programme to equip every child with the tools they need to thrive.Thanks to our collaboration with Well Windsor, the myHappymind programme is now adopted across all KS1 and KS2 schools within the Windsor Learning Partnership — Clewer Green CE First School, Dedworth Green First School, Oakfield First School and Dedworth Middle School.
Howard Seymour, Executive Headteacher said ““The myHappymind programme is having a profound impact on our students, helping them develop essential skills for emotional resilience and a positive outlook. We’re grateful to Well Windsor for their continued support and to our dedicated staff for delivering this important programme.”

Mon 28 Apr 2025Windsor Learning Partnership are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled professional to join us as School Business Manager across Oakfield First School and Clewer Green CofE First School.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and will have experience of managing complex budgets and producing monthly management accounts. Experience in human resources and facilities management would also be beneficial.
As part of the senior leadership team the School Business Manager will work closely with the Executive Head and the Chief Financial Officer to drive excellence in financial and operational performance.

Windsor Girls' School select Well Windsor as their charity of choice
Mon 28 Apr 2025We were thrilled to see pupils from Windsor Girls' School select Well Windsor as their charity of choice as part of the Ascot Racecourse Supports Charity Challenge.
Through this fantastic Careers initiative, the students will fundraise and raise awareness of the vital work Well Windsor does to support better mental health for young people.

WGS Ofsted Progress Meeting

This is an open meeting, not only for the parents of students who already attend Windsor Girls’ School, but also prospective parents of future intakes. We have received feedback that you are finding these sessions useful and are committed to providing ongoing updates.

We are hiring - Science Technician
Tue 01 Apr 2025Required as soon as possible, a Science Technician to work in our highly successful and supportive Science department, joining a team of two skilled Science Technicians. The post is principally for the preparation of Science lessons. This involves the setting up of apparatus, ordering resources, the management of resources, and some photocopying. Training will be provided.
