    Mon 29 Sep 2025

From 5pm on Friday to 5pm on Saturday, voices rang out across Windsor in a 24-hour sponsored Sing-a-thon raising an incredible £11,000 for the Windsor Homeless Project.

Led by our Director of Music, James Manwaring, students, families, and local choirs came together in a show of Windsor community spirit.

Some students from our upper schools even took on the 3am–7am shift, keeping the music alive through the night.

  • Dedworth Green celebrate Ofsted report

    Thu 25 Sep 2025

We are delighted to share the highlights from Dedworth Green First Schools’ latest Ofsted report.

Inspectors praised the ambitious curriculum, excellent reading provision, and the wide range of opportunities that help pupils flourish — from art and sport to debating complex topics with confidence. Pupils told inspectors they feel safe, cared for, and proud of their achievements, something Head of School, Mark Mackie said “reflects the hard work, kindness, and determination of our pupils, staff, and families, and the caring ethos that runs through everything we do.”

The report also celebrated our strong sense of community, high standards of behaviour, and commitment to wellbeing. As Gavin Henderson, CEO of Windsor Learning Partnership, explained, “this is a fantastic report that shows how this friendly school combines high aspirations with a deep commitment to community and care, ensuring every child has the chance to thrive.”

A huge thank you to our pupils, families, and staff who make Dedworth Green First School such a special place to learn and grow.

  • New playgrounds for our youngest learners

    Tue 09 Sep 2025

During the summer break, the EYFS playgrounds at Clewer Green First School and Dedworth Green First School underwent significant refurbishment, resulting in enhanced outdoor learning and play environments. These improvements were made possible through a combination of strategic investment from Windsor Learning Partnership, and in the case of Clewer Green, additional fundraising efforts led by their PTA and the successful acquisition of external grants from the Prince Philip Trust Fund and the Louis Baylis Charitable Trust.

These new spaces are ready just in time for our youngest learners to start school — perfect for playing, exploring, and making new friends.
